Grilled Eggplant

Grilled Eggplant

 

Eggplant is one of the most commonly chosen vegetables for grilling. The grilled eggplant can be a great side dish in a home party. The soft and meaty texture of grilled eggplant comes with lovely grill marks, which will in no doubt have people’s thumbs up.

 

Today’s recipe is about grilled eggplant, which is hard to fail.

 

Ingredients you’ll need:

Eggplants

1/2 cup melt butter

1 tbsp kosher salt

1 tbsp black pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

Royal Gourmet Barbecue Tongs

 

 

Use 2 eggplants, and slice them into pieces. It is better to be a little thicker, as eggplant will shrink while cooking, half inch thick is good.

 

Take a bowl and add melt butter, salt, pepper and finely minced garlic. Whisk to a good combine. Apply the marinade to sliced eggplant on both sides.

 

Preheat the grill, and turn it to medium high. If you are using a charcoal grill, remember to build two fire zones. Many people have grilled eggplant before, but it is common to overcook or undercook it. The heat cannot be too intense, either too low. An ideal temperature would be created between medium to medium high. Grease the grates with oil so that the eggplant won’t stick. Place the sliced eggplant in grill and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes, keep basting the marinade with Royal Gourmet silicone barbecue brush. The heat-resistance barbecue brush will give the eggplant an appealing hue during the cooking.

 

Flip once with Royal Gourmet barbecue tongs, and let the other side cook for another 3-4 minutes.

 

The beautifully charred eggplant comes with the unique flavor from grill, making this dish nothing but fantastic. You can serve it either in a big vegetable platter or simply in a plate. And it is a recipe you can’t miss in a summertime cookout.
