Ribeye Steak

Ribeye Steak

No matter in a casual backyard supper or a big grill party, being prepared with tender and juicy freshly grilled ribeye steaks will always make people crazy. A griller’s cooking career won’t be complete without having done ribeye steaks.

However, it is in fact not really hard to do that, and people usually over-think a great steak.

With a gas or charcoal grill, you can simply make a fantastic grilled ribeye steak at home.

Ingredients you’ll need:

A 1.5-inch ribeye steak

Kosher salt

Black pepper

Paprika (optional)

Olive oil

Tools you’ll need:

Royal Gourmet Extra-Long Barbecue Tongs

Royal Gourmet Digital Instant Thermometer

As a good-quality food, ribeye steak itself comes with a unique “steak flavor”. There’s no need to add too much extra flavor, as it is said, simple is better. Choosing a great ribeye steak and a right grill appears to be something more important.

A 1-inch or 1.5-inch bone-in ribeye steak will do a good job. Besides, a high-efficiency grill also plays a significant role. Either gas or charcoal would be fine.

Firstly, you need to coat olive oil on both sides of the steak. Sprinkle some kosher salt and black pepper from up high. You can adjust the amount the way you like it, as in fact, grilling is just a matter of personal preference. I would personally sprinkle some paprika as well, in order to get some hot taste. Let the meat rest in room temperature for about 1 hour before getting to grill.

Grilling is actually a technique which is really easy to achieve, especially with the right grill. Preheat your grill and grease the grates with a little olive oil meanwhile the steak is marinating.

Throw your ribeye steak on the grill grate, grilling it directly over high heat, which will give the steak a few crispy edges and some char.

It takes approximately 4-5 minutes before flipping. There are different sayings about flipping times. I would suggest flip only once, while the steak won’t lose much juice during the process.

To check the doneness of your ribeye steak, you can judge with your tongs or your finger, however, it would be much more accurate if you are using Royal Gourmet digital instant thermometer. Stab the probe into the side of your steak. When the thermometer reads 130 Fahrenheit, it is time to pull it off the grill.

A sizzling, juicy, and tasty ribeye steak is then perfectly done.

As far as you can see, grilling a magnificent ribeye steak is not really a difficult task, instead, it’s quick, easy and flavorful.

Whenever you are throwing a home party, this is something you must prepare.
